Four women—playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Marianne Angelle, former queen Marie Antoinette, and Haitian revolutionary Charlotte Corday—find themselves thrown together in Paris as the Reign of Terror rages outside. As executions loom and politics clash, they debate art, feminism, violence, legacy, and what it really means to fight for freedom.
Blending modern humor with historical stakes, The Revolutionists asks who gets remembered, who gets silenced, and how women’s voices survive—even when the world is literally falling apart around them.
